Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 March 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Namety LLC ("Namety", "we", "us" or "our"), as the operator of Greetio, collects and uses personal data when you visit the Greetio website, contact us, or ask about a demo, pilot, partnership or our services.
This website and these pages are aimed primarily at business users in the hospitality industry. This Policy covers website and enquiry-related processing where Namety acts as the controller of personal data.
This Policy does not replace any separate customer agreement, data processing agreement, or in-product notice that may apply if you later use the Greetio service. If Greetio is used by a hotel or other hospitality business to communicate with guests, that business will usually decide why and how guest data is used, and we may process that data on its behalf under a separate arrangement.
Who we collect personal data from
We may collect personal data from:
- people who visit our website;
- people who complete a contact, demo, pilot or partner form;
- people who email us directly;
- representatives of hotels, resorts, glamping sites, property managers, agencies, suppliers and business partners; and
- people who otherwise communicate with us in a business context.
What personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- your name;
- your work email address;
- your company, property or brand name;
- your role or job title;
- the content of your message or enquiry;
- information you choose to provide about your business needs, channels, tools or property portfolio; and
- technical information reasonably required to operate and secure the website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, time zone, server logs and form submission metadata.
We also use strictly necessary or operational cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
How we use personal data
We may use personal data to:
- respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about Greetio;
- arrange demos, pilot discussions, partnerships or other pre-contract business conversations;
- operate, secure and improve the website and our communications;
- prevent abuse, spam, fraud or other misuse;
- keep internal records of business communications and requests; and
- comply with legal obligations or protect our rights and legitimate interests.
Our legal bases under UK data protection law
Where UK data protection law applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- taking steps at your request before entering into a contract or business relationship;
- our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving Greetio, responding to business enquiries, and managing our commercial relationships;
- compliance with legal obligations; and
- consent, where we specifically ask for it and rely on it.
Who we share personal data with
We may share personal data with categories of service providers and recipients that support the operation of the website and our business, such as:
- website hosting and infrastructure providers;
- email, form handling and IT service providers;
- security, anti-abuse and logging providers;
- professional advisers, auditors and insurers; and
- public authorities, regulators, courts or law enforcement where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights or safety.
We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we will take steps designed to ensure that personal data remains appropriately protected, for example by relying on recognised adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual safeguards where required.
How long we keep personal data
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. In particular:
- website enquiry and business correspondence data is typically kept for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact;
- security and technical logs are usually kept for up to 12 months unless we need them for a longer period for security, investigation or legal reasons; and
- we may keep information for longer where this is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to comply with law.
If you later become a customer or pilot user, different retention periods may apply under the relevant commercial documents or service notices.
Your rights
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis we rely on.
You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office ("ICO") if you believe your personal data has been handled in a way that does not comply with UK data protection law.
Children
The Greetio website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
