PMS integration

Exely integration: guest answers built on live PMS data

Greetio connects to Exely through its Connect API and uses it as the source of what is available and what it costs. The catalogue, reservations and availability are synced, so a guest writing at midnight gets the same numbers your front desk would read in the morning. This is the newest integration we built, and it was built with the lessons of the earlier ones: a guided connection wizard instead of a settings page full of tokens, webhook delivery that survives a failure, and a sync that preserves what you changed on our side rather than flattening it.

  • Connect API
  • Guided setup
  • Local edits preserved

Where PMS integrations usually go wrong

The connection is rarely the hard part. Staying connected is.

Setup is a page of tokens and hope

Most integrations hand you a form with an API key, an endpoint and no way to tell whether it worked until a guest gets a wrong answer.

A webhook fails silently

One missed delivery and the chat keeps quoting a room that was booked twenty minutes ago. Nobody notices until the double booking arrives at reception.

The sync flattens your work

You correct a room description or a service name, the next sync overwrites it, and you do it again. Twice is enough for a team to stop bothering.

Two integrations, two different screens

Every PMS gets its own layout, its own vocabulary and its own quirks, so nobody on the team knows where anything is.

How the Exely integration works

Connect, sync, answer, verify.

  1. 1

    Connect with a guided wizard

Setup walks through the steps in order and confirms the connection before you rely on it — instead of leaving you to guess whether the credentials landed.

  2. 2

    Catalogue and reservations sync

Room and content catalogue, reservations and availability come across through the Connect API, so what the chat says matches what Exely holds.

  3. 3

    Webhooks that survive failure

Delivery is built to tolerate a failed or delayed call rather than silently dropping an update, so availability does not quietly drift out of date.

  4. 4

The AI answers, a person confirms

Guests get availability and rates for the exact dates they asked about; the AI prepares a tentative reservation and a manager confirms it.

What the integration covers

With the limits named, as usual.

Availability and rates from Exely

Answers are built from synced PMS data rather than from a description someone typed into a template.

Catalogue content sync

Room and content details come across from Exely, so the chat describes what actually exists on the property.

Guided connection setup

A step-by-step wizard replaces a bare credentials form, and the connection is confirmed before it is used for answers.

Durable webhook delivery

Updates are delivered with failure tolerance, so an availability change does not vanish because one call timed out.

Local edits preserved

What you adjust on the Greetio side is kept through a sync instead of being overwritten by incoming PMS data.

The same layout as Servio

The Exely settings screen was deliberately aligned with the Servio one, so a team that knows one knows the other.

Answering by hand versus answering from Exely

Exely stays exactly where it is. The conversation stops being a manual lookup.

Scenario: a same-day enquiry on an Exely property

13:20, the guest writes in the website chat.

Hi — anything free for tonight for two? And what's the rate?
Hello! Yes — a Standard Double is available tonight at 2 600 UAH, breakfast included. Check-in is from 14:00.
Perfect, we'll take it. Late check-out possible?
Noted — late check-out until 14:00 is subject to availability on the day and reception will confirm in the morning. I've prepared the booking; here's the payment link to secure it.
  • Availability came from the Exely sync, not from a person checking between calls
  • The rate was quoted for tonight specifically, not as an average
  • The late check-out was answered honestly as conditional, not promised

Illustrative conversation. The AI quotes only rooms, prices and dates present in the synced data; anything it cannot verify goes to a manager.

What we changed after the first integration

The Servio integration taught us that the hard part is not reading a PMS once — it is staying correct for months without anyone watching. So the Exely connection was built around the failure modes rather than the happy path: a wizard that proves the connection works before you trust it, webhook delivery that tolerates a dropped call, and a sync that leaves your manual corrections alone. The screen was aligned with the Servio one so that a team never has to learn two vocabularies.

  • Connect API for catalogue, reservations and availability
  • Guided setup, durable webhooks, preserved local edits
  • Greetio does not replace Exely and does not distribute to OTAs
We connected it ourselves in an afternoon and it has not needed a conversation since.

Exely and Greetio: common questions

Through the Exely Connect API. A guided setup wizard takes you through the steps and confirms the connection before it is used to answer guests.

The room and content catalogue, reservations and availability. Answers about what is free and what it costs are built from that rather than from a hand-written description.

Webhook delivery is built with failure tolerance rather than fire-and-forget, so a delayed or failed call does not quietly leave availability out of date.

No. Local edits are preserved through a sync instead of being flattened by incoming PMS data.

No. Exely stays the property management system. Greetio is the guest communication layer that reads from it, answers in the guest's channel and prepares bookings for a person to confirm.

No. It collects dates, occupancy and contacts and prepares a tentative reservation; a manager confirms it. A payment link can hold the dates in the meantime.

The read side is comparable — availability, rates, rooms, reservations. The two-way service-booking sync, where sessions and their charges are written back into the PMS, exists today for Servio.
